With only two relevant journals now reporting bioelectromagnetics, both originating in the United States, but with ten new countries now joining the European Community, there is a clear need for a new journal to cover the gap in this burgeoning field from a European perspective.

Contents of each issue will aim to include around ten new scientific papers from the fields of electropollution, magnetotherapy, device testing, dosimetry, cell biology, micro and molecular biology, epidemiology, and mechanisims of interaction. Live animal studies are outside the scope of this journal. Book reviews, forthcoming events, and news developments will however be given regular space.
